Design Resource Day

Over 60 design companies and organizations turned out for Design Resource Day at the SFDC Galleria. We thank them all for their participation. A big thanks also goes to the Design Resource Day event sponsors: Hunter Douglas, Modern Fever, The Luxury Marketing Council, California Homes Magazine, San Francisco Design Center, Delta, Cambria, and International Upholstery & Furniture.

The Design Excellence Awards entries reflected what talented members we have. The winning designs will be published in California Homes Magazine and ASID’s SF Design. There were four speakers during the afternoon: Stephen Barclay, Interim CEO of the America’s Cup Event Authority; Alf Nucifora, Chairman and Founder of The Luxury Marketing Council; Avelino Pombo, Director of Development, JOHLT Productions; and Kenneth Wingard from the Oprah Winfrey TV network. The day ended with a complimentary cocktail hour hosted by Cambria.
