REGISTRATION OPENS FOR THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS’ GATHER NATIONAL CONFERENCE

(March 31, 2025 – Washington, D.C.) – The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) has opened registration for its GATHER 2025 National Conference, taking place Aug. 17—19, 2025, in Atlanta. This year’s GATHER will celebrate ASID’s 50th anniversary, honoring five decades of design leadership while looking ahead to the future of the practice as a community. The event will bring together ASID members and other industry professionals, offering a space for all sectors to explore how design is shaped by social and cultural contexts through keynotes, CEUs and in-person networking and engagement. GATHER 2025 will highlight the impact of design—past, present, and future—anchored by ASID’s historic milestone.

The selection of Atlanta as this year’s host city is particularly meaningful, as the city holds a special place in ASID’s history. From its early years, Atlanta has played a pivotal role in the organization’s development, serving as a key hub for the growth of the interior design profession. As ASID celebrates five decades of impact, returning to Atlanta underscores both the legacy and the continued evolution of design leadership. The city’s rich architectural heritage, vibrant creative culture, and forward-thinking design community make it the perfect backdrop for this milestone celebration.

“ASID is proud of its legacy and excited to celebrate it at this year’s GATHER,” said Khoi Vo, chief executive officer, ASID. “Most importantly, GATHER showcases the heart of our organization—our design community. ASID’s practitioners and industry embody the passion and dedication that have fueled ASID for half of a century, and we’re thrilled to create a place for them to learn and connect in Atlanta this summer.”

The theme for this year’s conference, “Celebrating 50 years of Design Excellence: Honoring our Past, Designing the Future,” aligns with ASID’s anniversary celebration. Additionally, four key learning categories will guide attendees through the conference sessions: Health, Safety & Welfare Sustainability; Technology & Trends; Business & Leadership; and Design Inclusivity. This blend of retrospective and future-focused content will offer attendees dynamic opportunities for education, networking and collaboration across all sectors of design.

The opening keynote, “Timeless Leadership: Designing a Life That Feels as Good as It Looks,” will be delivered by Dr. Jennifer Keitt and will provide attendees with intentional strategies to refine their focus, eliminate distractions, and build a resilient, purpose-driven leadership foundation. Dr. Tracy Brower, Ph.D., MM, MCRW, will close the conference with her keynote, “How to Thrive: Evidence-Based Strategies to Persevere and Persist in Uncertain Times,” offering research-based insights on navigating change. Other featured speakers include ASID National Board Chair David Euscher, ASID, NCIDQ, WELL AP, Assoc. AIA, and “Home is Where the Heart Is” co-host Olivia Westbrooks, ASID Allied.

The conference will be held at the Signia by Hilton: Atlanta, with ASID hosting additional events, tours and programming throughout Atlanta to highlight the city’s vibrant design community. The Cheers to Excellence: ASID’s 2025 Awards Toast on Aug. 17, will kick off the conference by celebrating ASID’s National Awards and ASID Fellows honorees while toasting the organization’s milestone anniversary. GATHER 2025 will conclude with ASID’s Golden Soirée, a closing party at the Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Ballroom , on Aug. 19.

Full conference pricing starts at $649 for ASID members, $799 for general attendees and $299 for students. Early-bird registration is open through June 1. For more information about GATHER 2025, visit the GATHER website
